Visiting the School

We would encourage you to visit the School as you consider making an application. Visits in term-time are preferable so that you can see the School 'in action'. However, visits in the holidays are also possible as a member of staff will be available to welcome you on most days other than during July. Please contact the School in advance so that we can ensure that the staff you will need to see are available to meet you.

Be assured of a warm welcome!

Visits to the Early Years Section

A visit to the Early Years will allow you the opportunity to discuss all aspects of School life. During your personal tour of the School, focusing on areas specific to your child, you will also have the opportunity to meet with the Principal as well as other key members of staff.

As part of our standard admissions procedure at School all children are assessed so that they are placed in the class best suited to them. For this purpose it will be necessary for your child to have entrance assessment during your visit. This consists of short questions in Mathematics, English and some reading, appropriate to your child's age. For Years 4 and above we also include a section on non verbal reasoning.

Do allow approximately two hours to make the most of your time with us.

We would ask you to bring copies of your child's most recent school report and a copy of their birth certificate or passport.

To arrange a visit please contact us.

Visits to the Primary School

During your personal tour of the Senior School you will have ample opportunity to discuss your child's needs as well as find out more about us. You will have time with the Principal and Admissions Officer which will include a short informal interview for your child together with a chance for you to discuss any issues you wish to broach.

As part of our standard admissions procedure all children are assessed to ensure they are placed in the class best suited to them. Each applicant will be asked to sit two entrance examinations during his/her visit. This consists of a one hour paper for English and a one hour paper for Mathematics.
